The Mandarin East School is located in the heart of Mandarin and offers an incredible opportunity to learn the art of Tae Kwon Do. We are fortunate to have access to a very large and accommodating facility – Christian Family Chapel. It is the one of Yeshá’s oldest schools and with that, carries martial arts wisdom which may be passed on to current and future Tae Kwon Do Black Belts. Our instructors are truly dedicated to the core values of Yeshá Ministries. These values include their passion to help fulfill the mission of making every student grow in their knowledge of the sport and more importantly to learn and practice the fruits of the spirit as God has intended for each of our lives.
One of the most unique aspects of our school is the fact that we have so many families involved in the sport. It is a wonderful way to work out and spend time with your family and others in a safe environment. Another great attribute of our school is how we all take to heart the idea of investing in one other. As each of us grows in our knowledge of the sport and in God’s promises, we help teach others what we have been blessed to learn through hard work and dedication. To many, this attribute is a fine example of how God commands us to live and work in His kingdom according to His word.

Yeshá has helped me become a better person even though I have had some failures. I learned at the test this past Saturday that I may fail, but I am NOT a failure. I learned that sometimes you fall down, but you just get back up and continue. I learned that sometimes you have to go through experiences that you don't want to in order to be a better person. Just like Job in the Bible went through hard experiences, and he said in chapter 23, verse 10: "But He knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure gold."
I need to work hard in order to get my black belt, and when I do, I will feel very good about myself because I worked hard to earn it.
Mr. Olipendo always tells us to do our best in every-thing. It helps me think about doing my best in my school work, homework, or even chores.
I like Yeshá because it is something our whole family can do together, and we always get a good workout. I am thankful for all the upper belts who come and take time out of their day to teach me and help me do better. It also teaches me about giving. That is what Yeshá Ministries has done for me.
