Yeshá Competitors
For the last five years Yeshá has raised funding through corporate and private donors to support athletes for competition in AAU and USAT (Olympic) sanctioned events. No athlete has had to bear the burden of the heavy costs involved in this type of competition. This ensures our best students can be on the team, regardless of financial ability. We have also covered the costs of certifying over 20 AAU and USAT coaches so our athletes would have the very best direction possible as they represent Yeshá and our sponsors.

Since the inception of our “formal” competition team approach, Yeshá has produced 105 regional champions and 43 US National medalists as well as 8 Jr. Olympians and one Olympic finalist.

The 2008 – 2009 competition year has seen a tremendous growth in our team. During this past year our 27 National finalists won 155 Gold, Silver and Bronze medals before entering the National Championships. At the National Championships in July of this year 26 of those finalists medaled 34 times. What is most significant was that 55% of the time they stepped into the ring they medaled. When you consider that some divisions had as many as 31 competitors, the results are remarkable.
