“I had no idea what it would be like for me. I gained experience and improved
as a martial artist by progressing in my sparring, mental endurance and am better able to
handle myself in stressful situations.” --Karen O’Connell

“We had the unique opportunity to not only work hard for ourselves but for God. I believe
that is what made us such a great team! It does not matter what type of medals we took.
What matters is that we stuck together, made it to the nationals, won there and stayed together
as a team. Thank you to everyone who made this happen.” --Alaina Watkins

“Being on the competition team has helped me ‘come out of my shell.’ During the competition
I asked for prayer from friends and family. I knew anything was possible with God – He blessed
me with medals in sparring, in which I was never really confident. I gained confidence though,
because I had an opportunity. Throughout all this it all comes back to God blessing me by putting
me on the team.” --Stephanie Austin

“Martial arts has not been something I could afford myself, much less my whole family. However,
to have people give you something you can’t pay for is priceless. I feel ‘believed in.’ Because
of all this support I believe in myself. Now, the more I get filled up, the more I want to pour
into others. The medals I won were an ‘extra’ gift from God.” --Mark Campbell

I always want to learn Martial Arts as a teenager and never had the opportunity, so Yeshá Ministries
fulfilled a lifelong dream. I want to thank the instructors for all their hard work and training
that gut us to the Nationals. I never thought in a million years I would be part of such a great
team. Thank you for this opportunity. I cannot wait until next year.” --Anthony Watkins
